For an extra $9 per month, you can add an nbn home phone (VoIP) service as part of your internet connection with MATE.
You can retain (port) your existing telephone number, provided the number is currently active with another provider, or we can supply you with a new phone number.
Please keep in mind that porting of a number can take between 1 to 6 weeks to port to MATE and must remain active until the porting process has been completed.
nbn Home Phone (VoIP) Call Inclusions
A MATE nbn home phone plan includes:
- Unlimited calls to Local, National & Mobile numbers;
A MATE nbn home phone plan does NOT include:
- Calls to 13/1300 Numbers (charged at $0.50c per call);
- Calls to International Numbers, charged at various rates
International calls are disabled by default on VoIP numbers, therefore, customers will need to opt-in by contacting MATE support if they wish to make international calls.
